There are a lot of cars in Riga where the Russian Federation's flag is placed

Mar 11, 2010

Dear TBT,

As you may have noticed, there are a lot of cars in Riga where the Russian Federation’s flag is placed. Can anybody explain why do people place those flags [on the car]? If the aim is to make local people angry, they are doing that well. But why should such people live in Latvia at all? Why don’t they move to Russia? If they are such patriots, why not take that flag and find a lovely place for living in Russia? Russia is a huge country, there are a lot of places for such small and nasty provocateurs.

The situation in Latvia is not good at all, but why do they make it even worse? People living in Latvia should participate in the political life of the country together, no matter what nationality they are.
