VILNIUS - Lithuania's new minister of foreign affairs, Audronius Azubalis, has been sworn in at a Feb. 11 ceremony.

Azubalis will replace Vygaudas Usackas, who was forced to leave the post earlier this month after the president publically said that she had lost confidence in him.

"The main task is to continue what has been started. I have in mind Lithuania’s forthcoming chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe," the newest member of the Lithuanian Cabinet told journalists.
