RIGA - Many of us feel embarrassed while smiling in public. That’s because of problems with our teeth.  Unfortunately, many people around the world are suffering from similar problems. Instead of traditional reproduction we use a three-dimensional video camera. Instead of reproduction paste and modules, it’s the main storage on the computer. With help of a 3D camera the image  of the restoration zone is recorded on the computer monitor screen, and the dentist starts making the construction. When all the lines are set, the computer calculates the size of the plug or crown and transmits this data to a grinding block, which is operated in 6 axis, and grinds the needed construction, with high accuracy. In 10-20 minutes, depending on the level of complexity, a plug or crown is ready and its fitting and fixing can be started.

“It’s more creative work when we make the front teeth. It is made in cooperation with the patient. During construction of crowns it is possible to make a new, nice form of teeth, according to cosmetic norms. There is one more problem which can cause an imperfect smile – a bad bite. Bite correction with brackets takes a long time. Some of us don’t want to waste time with regular monthly visits to the orthodontist for examinations. A bad bite can break off natural teeth and crownwork, lead to tooth over-sensitivity, as well as a parafunction of the digestive apparatus, respiration, speech, cause headaches and problems with the stomach, and many other things.
