Paksas accepts prime minister post

VILNIUS - Vilnius Mayor Rolandas Paksas was overwhelmingly approved by the Lithuanian Parliament May 18 as the country's new prime minister.Paksas, who was appointed by a count of 105-1, with 12 abstentions, said no big revolutions in Lithuanian affairs are planned, just up-front, honest government.
