Lithuanian bridge dog dies

VILNIUS - A dog that was thrown off a bridge in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius has died.

Svajunas Beniukas, 22, is accused of throwing the dog off a bridge after a mobile phone recording of the event was circulated on the internet and viewers were allegedly able to identify the place and person on the video.

The dog reportedly belongs to the suspect's neighbor.
