VILNIUS - Lithuania is set to sell off about 50 million tons of carbon credits.

Reuters reported on Moday that the credits will come from the country's 2008-2012 quota.

Lithuania, which has been allocated 221.3 million tonnes of credit over the period, is allowed to sell off any uneeded credits as part of the emissions deal.
