The municipal elections in Estonia, which took place on the 18 of October, were won by The Centre Party, led by the current Tallinn mayor Edgar Savisaar. The party was able to gain 31,2% of the votes.
Centre Party's closest competitor - The Reform Party (which leader, Andrus Ansip, is currently the head of the Estonian government) - has managed to gain only half as many votes (16,8%). Third place was taken by Pro Patria and Res Publica Union (IRL) with 14,1% of the votes.
