Second case of swine flu in Latvia

RIGA- Latvia has registered its second case of the AH1N1(swine) flu. In this case, the woman infected had not left the country informed the Center of Infectious Diseases.

The woman had reportedly been in contact with a member of a youth folk dancing group that had recently traveled to Mexico.
The woman began showing symptoms of the flu on July 11, and was treated by doctors in Jelgava Hospital. Her specimens were sent to experts at the Center of Infectious Diseases, who conformed that the woman has swine flu.

The woman is undergoing treatment and the Center reports she is feeling fine.

This is the second registered case of the AH1N1 flu in Latvia, after a woman began feeling ill on a flight from the U.S. and Canada.
