The financial crisis may be far more serious and far reaching than the loss of money; it may threaten the very fabric of our society, causing social unrest.
People have already been marching in Latvia and Lithuania. Some in Estonia have also taken to the streets in sheer desperation, expressing their dissatisfaction and mistrust in politicians and the political system and their seeming inability to solve the huge problems presently facing the nation and individuals.
