Swedish Empire strikes back

  • 2008-09-25
I visited Latvia in 2004. There were some Finnish and Swedish supermarkets in Riga, and some more planned. It is natural that the Scandinavians invest in the Baltics, and not necessarily a bad sign. The Baltics will fall in someone's "sphere of influence" (because of their small size and sparse population): better it be Scandinavia than anyone else.
