VILNIUS - Men and women stood silently in a pleasant grassy field, then lifted their arms in unison and drew back the taut bowstrings. Suddenly the air was filled with the rushing sound of flying arrows, which thudded into the target at the far end of the range, reminding me of Robin Hood. This is archery.
