VILNIUS - Lithuania has never been perceived as golf country, but Capitals Golf Club in Vilnius is working to change that. Membership is growing, and Arunas Pemkus, the club’s deputy chairman, is planning for expansion and hopes the club will make a vital contribution to the budding Lithuanian golfing industry. The golf course, which opened in 2006, covers a portion of the state-protected Pipiriskes geomorphologic park at what is very nearly the geographical midpoint between Kernave, Trakai, Ka ...
