Jul 22, 2008
By Mike Collier

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB) has been approved as a member on the NASDAQ OMX Baltic Market stock exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius, becoming the 27th pan-Baltic member in the process.

SEB has more than 250 institutional users, who will have direct access to the Baltic securities market. SEB membership will increase interest in listed companies in the Baltic market through growing activity and visibility, a statement issued jointly by the stock exchanges said.

SEB AB will trade on the NASDAQ OMX Baltic Market under the trading code ENS.

The NASDAQ OMX Baltic Market stock exchanges have 42 members altogether.

SEB is already the largest broker on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and the Nordic stock
exchanges in total.
