SEB picks up regional gong
SEB, one of the Baltic's major banking presences, has been named number one bank for Latvia and Lithuania in the category "World's Best Emerging Market Banks in Central and Eastern Europe 2008" by Global Finance magazine.Selection criteria included growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, customer service, new business development, competitive pricing and innovation in products and - vitally this year - the ability to weather an economic and financial storm.
Global Finance Magazine's annual surveys rank the performance of the best banks around the world, and the awards are made after consultations with bankers, corporates and equity and credit analysts worldwide.
