Rate.ee

May 14, 2008

I was very interested in your article about Rate.ee. Actually Rate.ee is more popular with teenagers and people of my generation are moving over to Orkut. I was just thinking that in a way it’s a shame that we don’t all speak English as well as Estonian – then we Estonians would totally have taken over the Internet.
When I was in the U.K. last summer everyone was talking about Facebook and I could not understand what all the talking was about because we have this in Estonia already many years. We also invited Skype. Sometimes I think that the so called Western countries are backwards compared to us in terms of IT. The banks are also horrible. It took me a long time before I was to get a bank account.
