‘EU enlargement is best guarantor of security’

Urmas Paet, a former journalist, became the Estonian minister of foreign affairs in 2005 at the age of just 31. In that time, Estonia has gone from a newcomer in the European family of nations to a country that others might need to listen to. The country can offer tips on how go from poor and unstable to prosperous and democratic. Estonia still faces big challenges, however, particularly in its relations with Russia.
