Latvia's President warned by taxman

RIGA (BNS) - Andrejs Sonciks, director of the Latvian State Revenue Service, issued a warning to President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, who admitted making mistakes when filing her income declaration.No other action will be taken, as this is Vike-Frei-berga's first offense, according to the State Revenue Service, or SRS.The SRS learned that Vike-Freiberga had handed in her declaration later than required by the law.But the president told reporters that upon repatriating to Latvia nobody informed her ho ...
