EARLY EUROS? IRL lawmaker Taavi Veskimagi has suggested using the euro as currency in conjunction with the kroon. Economists reject the idea.
TALLINN - Estonian politicians have begun debating the concept of introducing the euro as a parallel currency alongside the kroon.
The debate was sparked by Taavi Veskimagi, a parliamentarian in the governing coalition party IRL, who said interim measures should be considered as the euro currency zone accession date slips further away.
