RIGA - The number of MEPs Latvia sends to Brussels could be cut from nine to eight, reported the Russian-language newspaper Telegraf Sep. 5.
The reduction in the number of seats will be one of the issues discussed by lawmakers during its fall session as part of the debate surrounding the EU's proposed reform treaty, successor to the failed EU constitution.
