TALLINN – Electrical systems and banks have confirmed their year 2000 preparedness to Estonian authorities, assuring that all systems are cleared of computer glitches that may result in the systems' malfunction at the beginning of the new year.The state's energy utility, Eesti Energia, successfully tested the energy system Dec. 9 to see if it could operate independent of the Russian grid.
