Brazilian wins MVP of the month
VILNIUS - Brazilian Marcelo Machado has won the January MVP of the Month award for two solid Zalgiris Kaunas wins and an equally impressive individual performance. The shooting guard earned a total of 54 points in the vote, which was judged by Baltic journalists, nearly doubling his opponents Gert Kullamae (Rock) and Andrius Slezas (Lietuvos Rytas) who each received 27 points.
