Lithuanian PM to pay a visit to Georgia

VILNIUS - Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas is leaving for Georgia on Feb. 1 on a three-day official visit.
During his visit scheduled until Saturday, the prime minister is scheduled to visit Georgia's capital Tbilisi and the famous skiing resort Gudauri, the governmental press service reported.
Kirkilas is also planned to meet Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, Parliamentary Speaker Nino Burjanadze and other Georgian officials in Tbilisi, he will also read a lecture at the foundation of strategic and international studies.
The meetings are to discuss bilateral relations between Lithuania and Georgia and possibilities of expanding these relations, the cooperation of Georgia with the European Union (EU) and NATO, other political topics.
