A drunken trolleybus driver crashed into four cars in Riga on Oct. 22. The result of the drunken trolleybus driver's Sunday evening accident saw three people injured. His breath alcohol test showed 2.9 promills, and the driver managed to escape Rigas Satiksme's compulsory testing. The driver had only been on the job for two weeks and due to starting his shift at 2 p.m., he was scheduled to take the mandatory test later. Blood alcohol tests are compulsory before, during, or after their shifts. Due to his late start on that day, his alcohol test was scheduled for later.
