I must have walked by the entrance to the yard over a hundred times. In fact, I lived on the same block and hadn't had the faintest idea what lay behind those city walls. From the bustle and rush of the Old Town's Vilniaus Gatve, all you notice are the nicely decorated windows. There's no entrance to the building from the front. Turn the corner and you'll find a gate, but only empty space and dilapidated buildings on your right are there to greet you once inside.
