A graveyard for German World War II soldiers in Babite outside of Riga has been vandalized, according to National Police.
The building at the entrance to the cemetery was covered in graffiti and one of its windows was smashed. Though the incident occurred sometime between May 11 and May 16 it was only reported to police on June 26.
Marina Capa, an aide to the Riga County Police Chief, told BNS that, judging by the graffiti, the perpetrators were probably teenagers.
