World championship organizers look back with satisfaction
RIGA - Prime Minister Aigars Kalvitis has awarded Latvian Ice Hockey Federation President Kirovs Lipmans and former Latvian president Guntis Ulmanis certificates of recognition for their success in coordinating the World Ice Hockey Championship, which was staged in Riga May 6 – 21. Ulmanis served as the tournament’s executive organizer.
