Lithuania's Armed Forces Commander Major General Valdas Tutkus was injured in a motorcycle accident on June 2 while traveling on the Vilnius-Kaunas highway to Palanga, he told BNS.
"On a road strip under repair, where the speed limit was some 70 kilometers per hour, a car suddenly slowed down, I jammed on the brakes, my motorcycle went out of control and I fell down," Tutkus said.
"I sustained leg, arm, head bruises, though I was wearing a helmet."
