TALLINN 's Ministers from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania during the annual conference discussed questions of environmental cooperation between three Baltic states, Baltic New Service reported.
The Estonian minister, Villu Reiljan, told BNS that one of the key questions discussed at the meeting in Panevezys (Lithuania) was the cooperation between the Baltic environment inspectorates.
Ministers also talked about problems related to procurement tenders relying on European Union funds in a situation where tender prices keep rising fast, as well as about cooperation within the EU and with neighboring countries outside the bloc, trade in emission quotas, the fight against grass and forest fires, and matters relating to elimination of marine pollution.
