MARDI GRAS Party

If there's anything New Orleans and Estonia have in common, its a passion for Mardi Gras. (Though the Estonians tend to be slightly less wild.) Beginning Feb. 28, the Estonian Agricultural Museum will provide a chance to learn about old customs related to Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.

Sledding, an old Estonian Shrove Tuesday tradition, will be part of the celebrations, along with traditional folk games and activities for the whole family. The event will be held until March 1.
