TALLINN -- Opposition leaders in the Estonian parliament sent a letter to Prime Minister Andrus Ansip Monday in response to the country's recent oil spill disaster.

"If you as head of the government do not find it possible to take respective steps we will be compelled to consider a vote of no confidence in parliament," said the letter, bearing signatures from Pro Patria Union chairman Tonis Lukas, Res Publica chairman Taavi Veskimagi and the leader of the Social Democratic Party Ivari Padar.
