Rumours flew when the premiere of Steven Speilberg's latest film "War of the Worlds" was cancelled amid security concerns.
The original location, Tokyo's Budokan arena, was said to pose certain threats to the security of the film's actors Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. Other reports claim the bigger concern was that a process to prevent illegal recording of the film had not been established. The film based on HG Wells' classic martian invasion tale will now be aired at Virgin Roppongi in Tokyo on June 29. We can only hope that Tom and Dakota will be safer there.
