BALTIC MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL 2005

VALMIERA - Sat 11 – Sun 12 - The vision of this festival in Valmiera is to ensure as much authentic medieval re-enactment as possible. All the events have been meticulously planned creating a united and unique sense of true medieval festivity both for the participants and the visitors of the festival.



During the course of events visitors will encounter brave knights, beautiful ladies, dancers, jesters and actors who bring the spirit of the Middle Ages alive. Visitors will also be able to take part in archery competitions, try their hand at ancient crafts or medieval dances, and taste medieval food made from authentic recipes. This festival is rich with tradition and includes carnival activities, military games, inquisitions and torture and is a sure-fire way to have a great time this weekend.
