Film and photo exhibition

June 2-29 's Soprus Cinema, in cooperation with Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, has brought a unique program, "My beloved enemy Klaus Kinski," to Tallinn. The photography/film exhibition will capture the work of inseparable friends and colleagues, director Werner Herzog and actor Klaus Kinski. The still frame photo exhibition will take place June 2 's29 at the National Library of Estonia. At the same time, Soprus Cinema will be playing a collection of Herzog's films June 3-8. If the exhibition is anything like the men's relationship (at times the two friends came close to killing each other), it's sure to be filled with drama and excitement.

LATVIA

Apocalyptica

Wed 1 's 19:00 's Apocalyptica, the band from Finland famous for playing Metallica songs with cellos, will turn up the drama at Skonto Hall on June 1. Mainly instrumental, the band has not only mastered the melding of different genres, but the creation of a heavy hybrid style. Apocalyptica seem to favor cello rock. They may sound simple, and possibly even mainstream, but in truth this Finnish band has something that others don't. Just what that is will be up to you to decide. Tickets cost 10 's 35 lats (14-50 euros)
