Jews call on Europe to speak up

RIGA - A European Jewish organization meeting last weekend in Riga called for a European voice in the restitution of Jewish property stolen during the Holocaust. The European Council of Jewish Communities, whose board met in Riga in honor of the 10th anniversary of local community revival, was reacting to American and Israeli dominance of the restitution process.
