Parliament stalls on statues

VILNIUS (BNS) - After a two-hour discussion July 7, the Lithuanian Parliament decided to return the controversial draft decision on setting up a theme park of Soviet statues in southern Lithuania to a committee for further consideration.The head of the Hesona company, Vilimas Malinaus-kas, has decided to set up a Soviet statue theme park on his land.
