VILNIUS – Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has rejected the new center-right coalition's candidates for transport and agriculture ministers.
"I can say that other candidates should be proposed for two of the ministerial positions – transport and agriculture," he told a news conference on Friday.
The Freedom Party nominated Kasparas Adomaitis for the transport portfolio and the conservative Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats proposed Dalia Miniataite for agriculture.
