Lithuanian parlt rejects resolution on listing Communist Party as criminal organisation

Lithuania's parliament on Thursday rejected a draft resolution proposed by opposition conservatives on listing the former Lithuanian Communist Party as a criminal organisation and perpetrator of the genocide of the country's residents. Proposed by right-wing parties, the draft was supported by 37 parliamentarians, 24 were against, and 33 abstained.
