Lithuania to increase stricter measures against alcohol consumption

Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius has announced the country’s ministries are drafting further proposals on reducing access to alcohol.  The decision comes following a series of highly publicised alcohol incited murders, which took place between December 2015, and January 2016.  "I hope additional bills to be presented shortly and they will reduce access," Butkevicus told Ziniu Radijas news radio on the morning of January 7, 2016.  Butkevicius promised to present specific proposals later when...
