Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite has accepted the resignation of Finance Minister Rimantas Sadzius, who is to take a post at the European Court of Auditors. Sadzius will be dismissed from the Finance Ministry as of June 15, the President's Office said.
He should assume office at the European Court of Auditors on June 16.
Defense Minister Juozas Olekas has been appointed as caretaker finance minister.
