Lithuania's chief vet refuses to resign - PM

Jonas Milius, the director of the Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service targeted by the law-enforcement, has declined to step down, announced Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius. "I had a meeting with mister Milius earlier today, and mister Milius refused to resign himself," Butkevicius informed the press today. Butkevicius stated that the government would next Wednesday decide on Milius' dismissal from office based on the materials collected by the Special Investigation Service on corruption risks at the veterinary service. ...
