In the first quarter of this year, Latvia exported goods to 179 world countries and was importing goods from 122 countries, according to the latest publication by the national statistics office about Latvia’s foreign trade.
Total Latvian exports in the first quarter of 2016 included 1.714 billion euros worth of goods exported to the EU member states (73.8 per cent), of which 1.142 billion euros (49.2 per cent) were exported to the euro zone.
