The board of the Union of Greens and Farmers today decided to officially nominate Anda Caksa, the head of Children's Clinical University Hospital, as a candidate for Latvia's next health minister.
The board of the Union of Greens and Farmers endorsed the candidate, who is also supported by Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis (Greens/Farmers).
The candidate has yet to be discussed with coalition partners. The parliament might vote on Caksa's appointment this week.
