RIGA - The additional 66 million euros allotted for health care in 2017 will not breed any substantial improvements in the sector, Jevgenijs Kalejs, the board chairman of the Latvian Association of Hospitals, said in an interview with the Neatkariga daily.
"On the whole, next year will not be much better than this year because previously the (health care) allocations were slashed and redistributed. Next year the financing will be partially restored to its earlier level," he explained.
