Estonian Greens want drugs to get similar status as tobacco

The Estonian Green Party is advising to treat narcotic substances similarly to tobacco and to learn from Portugal’s drug policy as it decriminalised drugs at the beginning of the last decade. "British Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) in its new report suggests to implement a new drug policy, according to which narcotics would be treated as a public health problem, and the possession and consumption of all narcotic substances should be decriminalised," the party writes on social media.
