Deputy secretary general for legal and consular affairs of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Annely Kolk, on Tuesday held meetings with Estonian ship guards at Chennai prison and met with the prison warden.
Kolk talked over the ship guards' court proceeding with them and acknowledged concerns relating to the agreement on the transfer of convicts between Estonia and India. She also gave an overview of Estonia's actions for supporting the men and the meetings in which she had participated so far in India, spokespeople for the ministry reported.
