The North Estonia Medical Centre’s (PERH) board has limited the powers of its IT director Marko Kilk and catering chief Anu Vahi who are suspected of embezzlement in addition to CEO Tonis Allik, who resigned on June 15.
"Everybody understands that continuing in their positions is complicated, which is why I ordered for Kilk and Vahi to be removed from all procurement committees and I restricted their signatory authority until circumstances have been ascertained," Andrus Remmelgas, a member of the board and chief doctor at PERH, told BNS.
