Although the Lithuanian government found a compromise on the repayment of Epso-G's multimillion debt to Ignitis Grupė (Ignitis Group) last spring and it was agreed on its early repayment by means of refinancing using bank loans and a longer repayment period, this plan will not be implemented, the Government announced on September 28. Epso-G's debt to Ignitis Grupė, which stood at around 157 million euros in late June, for the shares of power transmission company Litgrid, bought in 2012, will be fully repaid by 2022, just as it was agreed in 2016..
