A decision made by the EU member states by consensus is required to make changes to the time slots assigned to different countries to hold the rotating presidency of the EU, the head of the team preparing for the Estonian EU presidency in the first half of 2018 said on Friday.
The head of the team, Piret Lillevali, was commenting on the potential need for change given that Britain, where voters voted in a referendum on Thursday for leaving the EU, is scheduled to hold the presidency in the second half of 2017.
