RIGA - Latvia's Diana Dadzite set a new world record in the women's javelin throw at the Rio Paralympic Games on Saturday, scoring Latvia's second gold medal at the Games.
Dadzite hurled her javelin 23.26 metres.
The previous record in the F55 group was set in 1999, at 22.71 metres.
