Were I to provide advice to Ms Evalda Siskauskiene I would emphasis the great potential of bicycle touring in Lietuva. Millions of Americans and others tour and spend $ biking across many countries. Lithuania could reap great rewards if it develops this opportunity. Climate, terrain, and a seacoast are very suitable. We bikers would tour rural areas and villages - and spend our money there. The potential to develope the Baltic states as a world bicycle touring Mecca is very evident. We hope business interests, village officials and the Lithuanian government take the right steps.
